Nurse & Receptionist
Hi, I started my Vet nursing career in the 90's straight out of school as a small animal nurse. For the last few years, I have been running my own cleaning business. It may sound weird but I greatly enjoy cleaning for others. I was a casual vet nurse at the Global Veterinary Services Gordonton Clinic before taking on a full-time role in Whatawhata.
My love of animals has seen me as a foster parent to many kittens and puppies, which have gone on to find wonderful homes. In between caring for sick and unwanted animals, I have ended up myself becoming the proud parent of 3 Dogs and crazily enough lots of indoor Cats - don’t be alarmed, I classify myself more as a ‘Cat Sanctuary’ owner rather than a ‘Crazy Cat Lady’!
You can meet me at the Whatawhata Clinic where I am a Nurse Receptionist. Using the skills and knowledge I gained during my years vet nursing at Huntly and Ngaruawahia, I hope I can be of great service to Whatawhata and the surrounding communities. I look forward to meeting all of you and getting to know your furry companions and farms!

She was lucky enough to travel to south Africa and compete for New Zealand in 2016 doing Mounted Games. She loves animals of all shapes and sizes, and currently own 2 horses, 2 cats and a dog. Sam enjoys making a difference in animals' lives and working with owners to improve their pet’s well-being including preventative health plans, weight loss management and training. "I look forward to meeting you on farm and in clinic."
